I can't get walk out the door with just three lenses, ever, unless I'm
biking around the neighborhood, then I take only the F* 300 and a TC.

Minimum kit:
F* 300/4.5 (always).
A* 200/4 Macro (or FA 100/2.8 Macro).
M 20/4 and a fast 50mm, or F 24-50/4, or FA 28-105 power zoom.
1.5x AF teleconverter.
thin extension tube.

... and of course the FA* 600/4 plus teleconverters, which makes a
full kit all by itself.
