Hallo everybody! I am glad to be back. I have some questions about
teleconvertor. The only thing that I know is that it fits between the
camera body and the lens, it multiplies the focal length of the attached
by a factor which is typical for the teleconvertor and lastly each of the
aperture value also gets multiplied by the same factor so that the maximum
aperture of the lens undergoes a decrement resulting into a dark view
finder.
The point that I want to know are:
1) Is there any focussing ring on the teleconvertor? If yes, how
to focus the lens with the teleconvertor on it? I don't know the
procedure.
2) Shall I use a autofocus teleconvertor with an autofocus lens (though my
camera is manual focus but it has electrical contacts to read aperture
readout on the lens)?
3) Can I use a manual focus teleconvertor with an autofocus lens and vice
versa?
Thanks in advance.
With regards,
Ayash Kanto.
