Hi Peter,
This has been suggested before. I have not had the time to do it yet. I
am also not a big beliver in the plastic-lens-mount-is-a-bad-thing belief,
but others would definitely like to know.

Great idea! :-) Why don't you do what I would do, then share the results
with me?
If I were to do this, I would start by listing all lenses that I know of
that have a plastic mount (they will be only a small portion of all Pentax
lenses)? Then I would post a message on the PDML asking if anyone knew of
any other lenses with plastic mounts. After 4-5 days, when I feel that
I've received nough answers, I would post my new hopefully-complete list to
the PDML again, asking if anyone knew of any further lenses with plastic
mounts. After 4-5 more days I'd consider the list to be complete enough for
the KMP. After that people can still write to me and make
corrections/additions.
TIA,
Boz
PS: While you are at it, why don't you also make a list of the bodies with
plastic mounts? I find that to be more interesting, and it's definitely an
easier task.
