Hi,
My question is what to purchase between the Sigma 75-300 mm macro telephoto
lens, which is autofocus, and the Tokina 75-300 mm, which is manual? Is
having a manual telephoto lens really not a good idea for wildlife, etc.,
sort of work? They seem to score rather high in tests (from Photodo) and
are roughly the same price, except the Sigma would be used from
(KEH-excellent condition) and the Tokina would be new. I would really like
to get a Pentax 80-320 lens, but the ratings aren't as high and the price
is only slightly higher. I guess I am a believer in sticking with the name
brand lens (of course Pentax), but everything I've read, the Sigma and the
Tokina would be a better lens. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Scott
