I've noticed that some Pentax K1000 SEs have the "SE" engraved into the top
plate on the right side (as viewed looking at the camera from the front) and
some don't. Mine had an "SE" sticker in the same place.
I'm suspecting that this may have had to do with the change to plastic top
plates as mine is an earlier one with a metal top plate.
Just want to find out the straight dope as I'm going to be putting mine up on
eBay and someone may ask.
