The older images were scanned to Kodak PhotoCD. I have a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual (a low-end film scanner) that I now use to get my pics into digital format. I generally scan and store pictures at the highest resolution that the scanner supports (3504x2336 for a 35mm slide). I resize them for the web (usually no more than 600 pixels for the largest dimension) and monkey with the colors to make them look like the original slide. --Mark - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
