I thought that Anomalous dispersion glass can help a lot in extreme wide
angles, too? You would perhaps use not low dispersion, but extra strong
dispersion, but the results are same - improved chromatic abberance?

At least the 2.8 ultra-wide zooms from C and N both AFAIK use such glass.
