Hi Jens, Boz and All!!

Jens and Boz wonders:

They do have a camera museum. PENTAX Camera Museum is
located in Tochigi Prefecture, approx. 120km north of Tokyo,
where they have one of their factories.

>From what I saw in their web page (only in Japanese), the
main exhibits are the classics from all over the world.
But, they also seem to have their products, for they are
putting an image of an Asahiflex on the page.

The following is the detail;

Location: 858 Hanawa, Mashiko-Town, Haga-gun, Tochigi,
Japan
Tel: +81-285-72-1111 (uncertain if they can reply in
English)
Business hour: 9:30 - 17:00
Closed: On Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese National
Holidays
Entrance fee: Free of charge
How to get there:
>From Tokyo, take Tohoku Shinkansen to Oyama Sta. Change to
Mito-Line, until you get to Shimodate Sta. Then again,
change to Moka-Line. Get off at Mashiko Sta. The Museum
is approx. 2km away from the station. Takes about 2 and a
half hour, costs approx. JP\5,000.

Sincerely,
