        that's what Wheatfield suspects, as well.

        you're both probably right - the greedy bastards have it set
        up to mass-produce tourist snaps in high volume @$14/roll, 4x6.

        still, practically speaking, it is still a piece of crap for
        my needs. such a shame they went sloppy-digital, as they used
        to do great stuff w/ the Agfa-Copal they had before.

        the local WalMart just put in a 1-hour machine, but they only 
        use the "mottled" paper which I find unacceptable. That leaves
        just the Fred Meyers which has a not-so new Noritsu and counter
        clerks running it. a sad state of affairs!  they are supposed
        to be getting an all-new modern whizbang new machine - probably
        another digital abomination.

        (now perhaps my leaning towards going full-tilt retro w/ 
         8x10 contacts and E100VS transparancies will make a little
         bit more sense to youse guys (& gals, of course   ;^)
