Tripod, I forgot to mention I used a tripod. And the LX was on
automatic. OH, and I locked up the mirror and used a cable
release. And held my breath during the exposures. Other than
that, it was just a Frankencamera macro rig.

Practicality. I have a 49mm to 49mm filter thread adaptor.
Knowing that the biggest magnification can be had from putting a
short focal length in reverse on a long focal length, I wanted
to use the longest and shortest lenses I have with 49mm filter
mounts.
The M 150mm is actually a pretty good lens, and the A28mm is
reported to be a better lens than the M28mm, which I also own,
so I used tha A series lens in reverse.
For the record, that image is uncropped from the original full
frame machine print. I have no idea what magnification it is. My
monitor is a .26 dot pitch, so if I knew what that meant, I
suppose I could figure it out.
Thanks for the kind comments. Personally, I think it is an
incredibly annoying image.
