I looked at it but haven't downloaded or tried it. It's reputed to be good
for stitching together shots for a panorama - it automatically aligns the
pictures very well.
There is a mailing list on it - the instructions are in German and if you
join your response will be in German but it's a majordomo list so hopefully
you can figure out the message (99% of the mail on it is in English):
send an e-mail to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
with the following command in the body of the message:
subscribe proj-imim [your e-mail address here]
I think there is a digest form available also.

Subject: Picture Window 3.0 for image editing?
| Has any used Picture Window 3.0 Pro? I ran across a site by Norman Koren
on
| digital scanning that praises this low priced package ($90 for Pro
version,
| $50 for regular). The maker or Picture Window even has a free
downloadable
| ICC color profile for the Photosmart S20 scanner, and their image editor
| works with 48 bit TIFF files.

|
| http://www.dl-c.com/
|
| The $600 cost of Photoshop 6 seems quite out of my budget considering that
| is the more than the cost of another S20.
|
| Digital Light & Color offers a 30 day free trial for Picture Window, and
| I've downloaded it, but haven't had a chance to try it yet, and was
| wondering if anyone else had experience with it.
|
| Thanks,
| Gerald
