Hi all,

I was just wondering. About 15 years ago, if I remember
correctly, Pentax encouraged its LX users to adopt A lenses,
because A lenses are sealed like LX, if not so much, in
order to prevent humidity or dust from creeping into the
body.

Is this true? If so, is this also true to F or FA lenses?
When I'm in search for Pentax lenses, at first I seek for A
lenses, because I'd like my Super-A fully equipped, and I
don't like dust or humidity to creep into my LX.

If the same seal, as A lenses, is adopted to F or FA lenses,
there would be no reason for me to cling to A series, to
put aside the taste for more metal-like lenses<g>.

Does anyone know about this?

Sincerely,
