Since we have many Pentax MX users on this list, I thought I might take the
opportunity to get a general idea of the camera's reliability.

If you own an MX and wouldn't mind taking part, please copy this second half
of this message and mail it back to me privately. I'll tally the answers and
present the results when I have enough of them. Please don't respond on the
list.

Please answer only once--if you choose to comment, please also answer the
standardized questions so I can collate the data.

Thanks!

Mike

PENTAX MX RELIABILITY SURVEY (please respond off-list)

I use my MX:

__ infrequently (less than 50 rolls per year on average)
__ moderately (less than 150 rolls per year on average)

__ basically dependable but not trouble-free
__ average in my experience
__ less reliable that I expected and hoped
__ has had major problems, needed multiple servicings, or has failed in use

I bought it:
__ new
__ used

IF YOU BOUGHT IT NEW:
I've owned it for
__ less than five years
__ less than ten years
__ ten years or longer

(comments: optional)

THANKS!
