Had an M35-70 2.8-3.5 for about 2 months. I was quite happy with it optically, and it was a very usefull lens, but it showed a "soft spot" in one corner at times, and the zooming got stuck twice around 40mm. I guess my sample had been dropped and something was "loose" inside, but the dealer only wanted to take it back and return my money instead of repairing it. I liked it though, it was the only zoom I ever owned I actually used a lot in the short period I owned it. Check out if you can live with the distortion level though (but alot of zooms have that) No idea about prices in Canada. depends on how negotiable 245 Canadian dollar is I guess. Doesn't sound entirely unreasunable as an asking price if condition and warranty are good. Erwin - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
