You all can tell me if I am wrong.... I was looking on the Nikon site and
the history of the F, I know, I know..... Anyway they were discussing the F
mount and the design taking into account the mirror and how the mount had to
be designed to not interfere with it. Talks about the backfocus and the
relationship to the film plane. Does the small size of the MZ-S and let's,
say a small mirror have anything to do with a smaller veiwfinder? Maybe to
jam all the whiz-bang into it they have shorter and narrower throat on the
mirror box? Does the drive to keep the K-mount affect any of this, and what
Pentax can do design wise?
