Good point Mafud! The truth of the matter is, we have an idea of how durable the PZ-1p is. The new camera is as yet unproven. I see a distinct tendency by some to simply equate newer with better. The new MZ-S is just the next PZ-1p. I think taking any features away or downgrading specs from the PZ-1p was a mistake. I also agree with Wieland. At the MZ-S price point, where's the big advantage? To tell you the truth I've always been happy with the PZ-1p AF (except with my 80-320). Tom C.
