I take it then, you've probably wrung the best from the Z-1p and are 
immanently satisfied with its performance to date? 
*With such use-abuse, did you expect your Z-1p to last this long (5.5 years)? 
But from your description, the Z-1p sounds like a body that with average use, 
would last the average person 30 or more years, about the norm for sound 
PENTAX bodies.
