The Motor Drive A itself is sturdy, but the Battery Pack A is not. After
mounting the Battery Pack A on it, the stability of the whole setup on
tripod would be a lot worse (especially with heavier lenses). That's why I
have never used any grip or winder or motor drive when using the tripod.
This has nothing to do with the tripod itself.
