Hi guys,
Pentax introduced three types of new finder screens for LX
to the Japanese market.
They are ;
SC-69 : matte field and split image sopt with microprism
collar (as SC-21)
SE-60 : simple matte field screen (as SE-20 but no circle)
SG-60 : matte field with cross hair (as SG-20)
The matte field of these screens are modified natural bright
matte which is specially tuned for LX finder optics, I heard.
I recently bought a SE-69 for 1,600 JPY (ca. 14 USD).
It was really amazing !!
I wrote again and again that the screens for LX were dull
and no good. But this one was superb. Focusing ability
and focus easiness were impressive, just comparable to those
of K-1000 !! (K-1000 is superior to normal LX, IMHO.)
Pentax gives new hope to our LX !!!
