80-200/2.8 X 2 (was Wimter Carnival photography: Pentax goes to the races)

I'm interested to hear how you like using the 80-200/2.8 with a 2x teleconverter.  I 
know TCs are generally not recommended with zooms but I've broken that rule before and 
gotten away with it.  I'm very interested in this combo you used.  Please comment.
