Hi Frank,

I understand your concerns, the history of humanity is all too frequently one of one group of people doing their best to treat another group as shabbily as possible (and with frequent baffling examples of the oppressed becoming the oppressor as soon as circumstances permit).

My comment was more related to a belief I hold which is "we'd all be better off if we considered ourselves as guests on this planet rather than owners", but I'm kind of singular (not to mention erratic) in a lot of my beliefs.

This is probably straying dangerously OT and onto divisive ground. I'd be happy to continue the discussion off list if you like.
