Since photographers are usually not terribly well off, they are supremely disadvantaged when it comes to defending their copyrights, if they even know they have been violated. With the advent of stand alone digital copyprint stations, and good quality home scanners and printers, the entire notion of enforcing copyright is a joke. I don't even bother to try when I am doing a paying job. I treat every job as a stand alone work for hire, charge as much as I can suck out of them, and hand over the negs or slides as part of the package. I grew up years ago, and don't try to kid myself that some silly clause in a contract is going to deter anyone from copying my work. William Robb
