About 5 years ago I was in this position and made myself crazy. By nature I'm a hardware "junkie" so I have to compare specs, stare at the color glossy brochures, make lists, then start again.
For myself I chose the 67 system. I use it for landscapes, macro, still life, and portraiture. I use mostly color slide and B&W films. With color I have made 20X24 prints that are razor sharp and with B&W 11X14 prints are easy and the occasional 16X20 is a keeper. My style of shooting does not need/benefit from AF of the 645 system and 6X6 gets cropped down to 645. If you need/want AF, need to have faster flash sync speed, or even prefer handholding go with the 645.
