Maybe the 28-105 rebadge was just a patch up job filling the hole temporarily between
the old 28-105 and the new one. Eg. the stocks of the old one may have been sold out
faster than expected and/or the new one was later in development than planned. Hence,
the need for that Tamron rebadge in the mean time. Just a guess...
