Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the little rangefinder focusing patch is
now slightly out of vertical alignment, which it wasn't before.  I guess the
camera must have sustained a blow - although I really can't remember that
happening.  Coming home from my little Christmas getaway, the camera was in
my camera bag.  Maybe something happened I didn't notice...
