Thanks Andrew...it was actually one of my more popular articles, one that I still get comments on and letters about from time to time. It was due to be published as part of my book this year, but the project is on hold. Unless anybody knows where I can get thirty-five grand with very few strings attached. <g> The books is now called _The Empirical Photographer: Essays and Photographs 1980-2000_. Originally it was just going to contain the essays, because it was a real project and it's very expensive to have photographs printed. But since it's no longer a viable project and has gone back to being imaginary anyway, I figure I can pull out the stops and put everything in. <g> --Mike
