Hi Carlos.
I have not tried Vuescan as of yet(plan to)but
have tried and had good results with the Silverfast
program that came with the bundled software with the 2450.It
has "negafix" software
were you can pick the type of film ASA ETC you used.Mostly the basic
films but the few scans i tried worked well.

Subject: OT: Epson 2450 and Vuescan

I have just bought a secondhand but minty Epson 2450, based mostly in
the good reviews of this scanner written by some members of the PDML
(thanks for the info), as I need a scanner that can do both medium
format and 35 mm. scans for a price whithin my budget. I already have
a
Minolta D'Image Dual Scan, which I plan to sell, and it is good enough
for 35 mm. scans, but I couldn't afford a dedicated MF film scanner.
So far my impressions are good, but I would like to get some hints on
how to get the best possible results scanning negatives and slides
with
Vuescan and this scanner from the members of the list who have already
used it
for some time.
Thanks,
