I still insist it is not possible. I intend to prove it, using films that people insist are pushable. In case anyone thinks I am approaching this with a closed mind, some may remember that internet opus that I did with the film tests a few years ago. What started as an argument between Valentin and myself regarding whether Fuji or Kodak was the better film devolved into a pretty scientific analysis of about 40 different films from as many manufacturers as I could find product from. It turned out that speed for speed, Fuji had better granularity and resolution than the competing Kodak products, and I showed this to be true, even though it was exactly the opposite of what I had said at the start. > > I've shot NHGII 800 (now discontinued) and Supra 800 with a one-stop > push. Both were okay, but I thought the NHG gave better color and grain. > Now, based on your previous statements, Bill, I just shoot NPZ at 800 > but underexpose by one stop when I need to. So far that works. I'll see what Fuji has out there this week, probably pick up some NPZ and Supra, and I will try to find some Ferrania because the good Doctor insists it can be pushed successfully. > > May I ask why you are now inquiring about this? Its cold out and I need an indoor project. Also, I bought a densitometer off eBay this spring, and really want to do something with it. L8R Bill
