I don't agree. Photoshop is as complicated or uncomplicated as you make it. There are many features that you may not use and may never use but once you start exploring there is no limit to the creativity it offers. I regularly read through my manual, not because I have to but because I want to pick up more information. I went to the library yesterday and picked up a number of books on photoshop that are likely easier to understand than the manual and full of creative ideas. I do have photodeluxe on my computer as well and use it once in a while for simple things but it often gets in the way even when using it in the advanced mode.
