I'm going to bend the rules and specify one for each format I use. 35mm: 400mm f/4.0 AF, image stabilising is optional. Close focus to 3m (2m would be nice). Variable focus limiter. AF/MF clutch, tripod mount. 6x7: 35mm f/4 rectilinear with provision for filters either front or rear. This of course assumes that price is no object.
