Hi,
the joke among the British is that Americans pronounce it "less tuh",
with the stress on the 1st syllable. We like to encourage them in this
for our own amusement.
In fact, the correct pronunciation is "lie sesster", with the stress on
the second syllable. Practice this in front of a mirror, then next time
you're over here ask a local for directions and bask in their
admiration of your grasp of the lingo.
