Yes, there are SMC Pentax filters. They are not available in
all sizes - 49mm, 52mm, 58mm, 67mm, and 77mm only, if I
recall, IAC, just sizes for Pentax lenses. They are
available in UV, Sky, and a few B&W contrast colors, plus pol.
I just purchased a few skys, and I am very, very happy with
them. Although Ive not gotten around to doing a direct
comparison between them and B+W and Hoya, they appear to have a
coating which matches the Pentax lens coatings very well. Ive
already started selling off the Hoya SHMC and Hoya MC filters
that I own.
