if you aspire to your own darkroom, you aspire to at least the same costs time. you don't save money on the large format printing side. have you figured the cost of printing an average color 8x10? B&W work at home is pretty cheap, but because the individual prints are cheap, i found i made a lot more experiments. these experiments now happen in Photoshop. usually i am happy with my first print and stay with the adjusted file for all my subsequent printings. AND, i never have to touch out dust spots. Herb....
