Many people who went digitals simply went because of the attractive cost of savings in film development and filing. Companies use them to enhance the bottom line. People sometimes get very enthusiastic, or too enthusiastic I say. Just looking at the recent stock market rise and crash, we see that people are easily tricked into all the hype and glory, only to be told the truth "after" they are bought into the hype itself, just like whoever bought into Nortel or Enron.
