I'm not fighting you at all Mike. I think if you shoot a lot of pix that you have no intention of printing and or if you shoot a lot of slides and only keep a couple per 36 roll of film, a digital SLR will save you money in the long run — probably longer than most people want to admit but nevertheless it will pay off.... I'm probably not going to run out and buy the DSLR because for what I do right now I don't need it. But I know that I will eventually own one, and probably sooner rather than later..
