Don't know if this really ties to what Mike talks about but i just had to add this(my $.02) One of this regions digital on site companies is shooting the winter series of horses i did last year.I ticked someone off but don't know why. Anyway,i was at the show to day to try out a roll of Kodak P3200 and some of our riders bought pictures from this group.I don;t care if they buy from me or Adam but i just shook my head when they ohh'd and haa'd over the pic's.He shot all in available light ,which was poor,at a low shutter speed. All the pictures were blurry and DARK.The big diffrence is he has a program that can put 2-3 different sized pictures on one page. I personally would have been embarrased to sell these, but some people thought they were grand. Its been said on the list before,"some people will buy anything".
BTW anyone have knowledge about the picture on picture programs. My regular custumers are asking if i can do this.Right now i run PS6. Dave Sorry for the rant.I'm like most folk on this list.Strive for perfection, weather i can get it or not is story #2<G> ---- Begin Original Message ---- From: Mike Johnston <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> What really bothers me about the whole "film vs. digital" question FOR ME PERSONALLY--I mean as it works itself out and manifests itself in my own photographic work--is that I'm coming to believe that I may take better pictures when I have access to the formidable working-method advantages of digital.
