So how about some plain, unabashed, hairbrained speculation? Here's mine: We've seen DSLRs that *look* pretty like 35mm SLRs and have interchangeable lenses (D-60, etc.) and we've seen fixed-lens digicams that abandon the traditional form-factor of 35mm cameras because it's completely unnecessary with digital (why have room for the film cartridge on one side and the take-up spool on the other, for example?) like the Minolta Dimage 7, etc. I think the new Pentax DSLR will do both: It have be a digital-specific form-factor and *not* look like current interchangable-lens DSLRs, but *will* accept k-mount lenses.
