We need someone who really understands German. I doubt that the piece suggested that there is a DSLR based literally on the old 110, but is in the spirit of it.

I for one, don't believe a minute that the camera, if it exist, is based on the Auto 110. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever to make a new DSLR on a camera discontinued for 20 years or more.
The lens mount need to be updated as well to facilitate electronics. However, there are 1,5 million Pentax 110 lenses made.
