I'm closing in on $8,000 in some new, some used PENTAX MF gear. For my
purposes then, another lens and a finder will fill my gear out.
"Backs" and rotating backs are for guys who shoot 40-60 rolls of 4 or 5
different 120 films ~a day~. If you're not going to be in that class, a bag
full of backs are, while not uselss, at least ostentatious.
*I'd have bought into the Hassie mystique myself except for one nagging
thing:
you can't shoot SMC lenses on a Hassie.
