A true Hassleblad story. A client of mine had been hired to
photograph a 12 story seniors complex in town. He decided he
didn't want a falling over backwards picture of it, so used the
50mm lens on his 500C, and photographed the building from a
couple of blocks away. I ended up using just a bit more than the
area of a 35mm frame, near the top edge of the negative to make
some 11x14 colour enlargements for him. I was able to count the
bricks quite easily in the wall of the building, including the
ones at the very edge of the frame.
I was quite impressed.
Oh yes, he was using Kodak film.
