This is the problem, however.  Many complain about the MZ-S precisely
because it didn't have all of the "features".   I don't think that any
camera company  could make a profit from the folks on this list
precisely because of the diversity of tastes.  Remember, Pentax may not
be a major SLR player, but they make a ton o' money off the P&S market. 
And they are a business, after all.

So, anyways.. now you know why I think the -5n is a bummer, you also
know
that if _I_ ran Pentax, the whole thing would be coming out in a
different
way. Giving us cameras that don't have to keep up with Nikon and
Canon,
that don't have to match feature-for-feature, pixels and frame
rates...
cameras that stand out on what they are (or, would be): Technical,
engineering, design..all unique, all Pentax.

Woo... that was ranty. Even I'm not taking myself serious anymore.
