No, you need dedicated hardware: gyro movement sensors and specially designed lens group which moves to counteract movement detected. A simple explanation and diagram can be found here: http://www.usa.canon.com/eflenses/technology/imagestabilizer.html It was first used in video camcorders (those with "optical image stabilization") with great results.
