  Water movement is detected by all AF points and this greatly
  increase AF latency. Set function no. 8 on 2 to prevent the camera
  to use any adjacent focus sensor, then select the sensor that best
  suits your framing. The two center sensors are the most sensitive.

  P.S. BTW, I believe you mixed up AF-C and AF-S. The AF-C is the one
  that allows shutter taking precedence to focus.
