Don't forget Kodak and Fuji. Kodak has been selling DSLRs for years. Fuji has been doing quite well with the S1 and S2, in particular. DSLRs have been, and I personally think will continue to be pro and serious amateur cameras, where what brand of lens you can mount is very important.
