I know I've mentioned it before, but I have and love a black SP, with
(AFAIK) a factory installed split screen.  It's currently not working
(meter pooched, and the slow shutter speeds are way off), so it needs at
least a CLA and new meter.

And, it's a beater, but I love the brassing!

I haven't taken a pic with it in a couple of years, but it does my heart
good to look at it once in a while, it's just so pretty (brass, dents
and all).

What m42 do I lust after?  I'd say a black SPII, like JCO, with a split
screen (I find them much easier to focus with than the micro-prism).

And, Andre, you're right, the "fingernail flip" MLU is actually quite
easy to master (I'm the lowest common denominator - if I can do it...).
Works on all my Spots, and the MX as well.
