My ~opinion~ on the whole subject basically is that I'll choose a film for
it's other properties, mainly the way it renders the 1st generation image it
contains. I believe there is enough variables involved in the scanning
process that unless one's major emphasis is on scanning, optimization for
such is not an issue.
Just a sad thought - if the world were 100% digital right now, this thread
would not exist.
