Updated K-1000 the size and weight of the LX; fixed prism; manual and aperture-priority AE; cloth shutter to 1/2000th; single button for spot meter reading and exposure lock. Grip built-in. No other frills. Of course, given that Pentax was really not happy selling so many K-1000s, maybe it would be painful for them to have to resurrect it again. <g> --Luddite Mike
