As far as I know the flash sensor of the F100, which is situated in the mirror floor chamber, allows multi- (5) segment metering. So it might be possible to combine OTF with multi segment and spot metering.
The MZ-S works differently. It sends out a pre-flash that is metered by the 6-segment located in the pentaprism (P-TTL). There is also a sensor under the mirror for "conventional" TTL flash metering.
