For years I've been ranting and railing about humongous 35mm cameras like
the F5. The *ist is just the karma coming around to bite me on the butt.

I hate the tendency of everybody and his uncle to want to make things the
"-est." Biggest, fastest, smallest, lightest, whatever. I'm a classicist. We
seek balance above all things. We seek the middle, the optimum, the
exquisitely in proportion....

The perfect camera body is 20 ounces and...well, gosh, just the size of the
LX.

P.S. Actually the MZ-S is pretty close to an ideal size, too. Deep enough
for a comfortable hand-grip. Not too big, not too small; not too heavy, not
too light. Anybody know offhand what the MZ-S weighs?
