I'm not sure what folks were expecting. We all suspected that Pentax would come out with a new low/mid-range camera (Paal certainly said this enough). This camera is pretty much what I expected. I am confused, however, about the K/M lens problem. Aside from the fact that Pentax doesn't explicitly mention this compatibility, why do we assume it won't work in manual/Av mode? I'd be surprised if this new, obviously consumer/prosumer camera didn't mention F and FA lenses. This is mostly what they make now, after all. I'm sure they don't expect someone with a big collection of K/M lenses to give a flying fudgecake about this camera.
